One more from Copenhagen, this time wearing a killer Riikka Buri suit. It was a real eye-catcher and I enjoyed getting tens of questions about who the designer is. Always loving it when Finnish fashion interests people abroad.

FIRST LOOK FROM COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK

Last week of vacation is far behind (or at least that's how it feels, actually been back to work for two days now) and it's time to sum up everything that happened. Or more like everything that I wore.

First up one of the outfits from Copenhagen Fashion Week which I attended a week ago. It is always a joy to return back to one of my favorite cities and there's not a better timing for that than the fashion weeks. The fashion scene in Copenhagen is getting better and stronger every season and so is my love towards the Danish brands. They definitely handle the perfect mix of scandi minimalism and voluminous stylings.

When life takes over and sunny summer days are keeping you away from the computer these "breaks" start to happen. 
Would like to say sorry for that, but I actually am not. I have been enjoying the summer as much as I have had time to and definitely will keep on doing exactly that as long as it lasts. 
But meanwhile: I am working on finding my inspiration again and luckily I have already started to feel it grow.
 Just wait for it.

What a shopping fever I'm experiencing at the moment..! But then again I feel like I deserve to pamper myself after being super productive in life and at work the past few months, don't I? My latest  purchase was this Marimekko macrame bag called Tinja that I bought last weekend. Just had to have it.
So looking forward to this spring and summer, - my first full summer vacation and some interesting happenings just around the corner.

HIDING

UNDER A NEW FAVORITE

As soon as I saw the first rays of light this spring I started to think about my must haves for the upcoming spring/summer season. You can find some of them in the link on my previous post but some of them are still coming one by one. Either in "pick of the week" posts or as new best buys. Or like this one, as a present from a best friend. 

You might know that I'm not at all a sun worshiper - I like to stay as pale as possible in summertime as well. I haven't come up with any better way to hide from the sun than staying under a huge brim.

A NEW PAIR OF DENIM

Helsinki is experiencing some serious spring vibes and that to me always means that it's time to take all my denim back in action. Been wearing double denims, denim jackets and wide blue bootcut jeans for a week now and cannot really get enough of it. So let me introduce you to my latest pair that I got from Dr. Denim; the Mom fit called Nora. 

This girl who always, ALWAYS prefers wide legs has now fallen for a skinnier look. Which is not the most perfect timing since she is not at her skinniest at the moment.

It's that time of the year again when plain monochrome outfits just don't feel right. The crazier the better. Well well well.. Should I say "Oops..I did it again". I literally have different earrings for every day for the year to come. But some have shoes, others have bags so I think this is still quite an affordable addiction. And like I've said before, why shouldn't I let my ears shine when they are what they are.

Anyway my new favorites come from Uterqüe and they flew all the way from Spain in less than two days. 
Thumbs up - since I'm not a fan of waiting.

My face when winter dressing starts to bore me out. Seems like I've had enough of coats and layers for this year.
Copenhagen Fashion Week is on the schedule of mine for next week, maybe I get some kind of new inspiration for layering - who knows. Anyway, looking forward to it! I've been working my ass off so three days of "freetime" abroad will feel like a vacation.
